Local Authority One Stop Shop

Welcome to my new venture. I have decided to create a website which will capture many of the daily tasks that I get involved in as a Clerk to a Local Authority. Often you have to wear many hats and be an expert in a diverse range of activities. Do not panic, I am here to help and advise. I have over the years gained many contacts, colleague and friends who specialise and can help out in the areas that you are struggling with at the moment, areas such as governance, finance, project management, social media etc. That does no make you a failure, it just means that Clerks are not superman/woman although many think that we are. As well as my administrative/leadership background, I have been expected to know about building surveys, drainage, plumbing, land management, flooding, fitness techniques and beer trends just to name a few

I am not here to preach, I am here to help you, our sector and position as the 'Chief officer' can be very isolating. The way we work is changing and there are many 'freelance experts' that can help us get through a project. If you don't have the budget then we can talk that through, using creative project planning, s106 and CIL funding.
